Amazon Associates
Amazon Associates is the official affiliate marketing program run by Amazon, allowing individuals and businesses to promote products and earn commissions from qualifying purchases. As part of Amazon, it directly benefits from the company’s extensive global reach and product range.
Associates typically create content—such as blog posts, social media posts, or videos—featuring special affiliate links that direct audiences to Amazon’s product pages. Every time someone makes a purchase through these links, the Associate earns a percentage of the sale.
To become an Amazon Associate, you simply sign up on the Amazon Associates website, provide information about your platform(s), and, once approved, begin sharing affiliate links with your audience.
This is what I've done years ago and I am just starting to use it, I was approved and didn't actually do anything until now. I did build one website promoting Dog Products, it was making some minor sales and I forgot about it.
It takes some work, but if you already have a following on Social Channels, this is ideal for you. I've built a lot of websites over the years with various types of affiliate offers, promoting various products and programs, but I really didn't have the following on my channels.
The fastest way to start making money is to promote to your warm market, which is people that you know. You know that they are already buying on Amazon, so why wouldn't they support you. If they are already buying on Amazon, someone is getting that commission, it might as well be you.
The next fastest way is by Paid Advertising, you might make an Ad on Facebook or Youtube, depending on which product you are promoting, it will sell, there are thousands of people looking for that product, and if you concentrate of a product you will sell that product or products.
It's best that you have a platform, a website or landing page, I chose to use Blogger by Google and it's free.
It saves you money in hosting and buying a name for your website, sometimes you forget about when your hosting and name and it's taken down, this has happened to me many times.
Your Blogger Blog will stay up as long as you want. I just create reviews about the products, these will show up in Google as well, but I have a targeted market.
